OKay, this fellow is one of those empty your head moments.
I don't know about you all, but when my brain gets too full of ideas, I can't work on anything. So it helps to purge the old noggin' by drawing or painting a lot of the things in there, until my brain is empty enough to focus on the art I NEED to be doing...for money.
LOL! This poor vampire is one of the things I had roaming around unfinished in my head. So I finished him today.
He doesn't like hunting. So now that his belly is full, he's all melancholly.

Mahatma Gandhi As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world that is the myth of the atomic age as in being able to remake ourselves.
Now this is interesting; you're a very skilled artist, I can tell instantly with this piece, and a step above that you've got a strikingly impressive style.
Were this any old vampire I might not have even stopped to comment, there's plenty around the interweb for an eternity; this one, though, is uniquely painted. On one hand, he almost looks a little punk-ish, but he wouldn't seem entirely out of place in a traditional, ye olde setting.
The pale skin isn't overdone, and he's in no way 'freakish,' but you still get the feeling from body language and coloring that he's a bit odd- which is in itself pretty creepy! And the tiny details really complete this perfectly, the ring fits right in with the almost medieval royalty look. Awesome job, one of the best works I've seen on dA in ages! Congrats, I hope you're as popular here as you ought to be!
